Body and hair care par excellence, this vegetable butter repairs and protects very dry areas. A traditional beauty recipe, shea butter is absorbed well by the skin nourishing and protecting and restoring its shine and suppleness.
Shea butter is very easily and durably absorbed by the skin. Its moisturizing, enriching, nourishing and toning properties make it a precious care to protect the skin and hair. It contains fatty acids and vitamins (A, D, E and F) which help to soften and regenerate dry skin and nourish the scalp. The surface layers of the epidermis are hydrated and dry hair is restructured. The hair regains suppleness and shine, and the skin is softened, soothed by the essential fatty acids of shea butter which also promote better healing and prevent the appearance of wrinkles. Shea butter is a protective skincare product, recommended, among other things, against the effects of the cold. It is very effective in repairing and protecting dry, cracked hands and chapped lips. Shea butter protects and nourishes at the same time thanks to its rate of unsaponifiables, which is very high. Its presentation in solid form makes it an ideal treatment for the treatment of hair and the body, and is particularly suitable for the care and protection of the skin of young children.

Shea is an African tree native to Sudan, which grows throughout West Africa, and which is found only in the wild (cultivation attempts have never been successful). Shea has a mysterious character, almost sacred to Africans, and it is never cut or cut. The picking of almonds (contained in the tree nuts) is accomplished by women. This work is not without danger because of the snakes hidden in the high branches. It takes about 4 kg of almonds to produce 1 kg of shea butter, which corresponds to the annual production of a tree.
