Soothes and softens irritated skins. Derived by distilling organic Roman chamomile.
Regarding cosmetic use, chamomile hydrolate is suitable for all skin types, in particular normal, sensitive, dry and senescent skin. Regenerates, calms, purifies and rebalances the epidermis, and is recommended for use, for example, after long exposure to the sun or wind to soothe the skin. Chamomile hydrolate is also anti-inflammatory. Very mild, it can be used to relieve inflammatory eye problems due to conjunctivitis. It prevents skin allergies, so it is used for the care of fragile skin. It is especially suitable for children thanks to its softness. Chamomile hydrolate is indicated to treat acne lesions, eczema patches and psoriasis and has healing properties. Finally, chamomile hydrolate has a digestive effect, because its calming power is also effective orally.

Roman chamomile (or anthemis) belongs to the Asteraceae family. Its French name comes from the Greek and means "fruit of the earth". It grows in Europe and particularly in France. Its flower looks like a small daisy. Chamomile has long been renowned for its antispasmodic properties. Chamomile baths were also recommended for children who were too frail or rickety. Chamomile is therefore ancestrally known for its healing properties.
