Malas
Mala is one of the objects most widely worn by the Tibetans who wear it around the neck or around their wrists. They use it to count mantra recitations following the rhythm of their prayers. Polished by the mantras, these prayers are repeated endlessly. The mala's beads can be made of wood, seeds or gems.
